Britons who have traveled to Cuba in the last 11 years will need a visa to enter the US.

In a message issued by the Visit USA Association, the disclosure was picked up.

According to the newspaper, Donald Trump added Cuba to the American list of state sponsors of terrorism, while Joe Biden left it in place.

If you've been to Cuba in the past 11 years, you won't be able to use the visa waiver scheme.

They have to pay for a visa and wait a long time for an interview.

Cuba was placed on the same list as Iran, North Korea and Syria just before Biden took over.

The US State Department told The Independent that any visit to an SST on or after March 1, 2011, renders the applicants ineligible.

They need to pay a fee and attend an appointment at the US embassy in London to get a tourist visa.

There is a huge amount of appointments that have been delayed because of the Pandemic.

Due to an increase in the number of visa appointment requests, you may experience a delay in paying your visa fee and scheduling an interview appointment.

It may take several months for you to schedule an interview.
