In what could be described as a very predictable move that is going to have a lot of generations of fans losing their minds, Hugh Jackman has joined the cast of the third movie in the series as the Canadian superhero, Wolverine.

The first time he portrayed the character since James Mangold'sLogan, Hugh Jackman will reprise his role in the third movie. Following Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, all of the X-Men intellectual property will be back at the studio. Kevin Feige said that the Mutant mercenary will remain in R-rated territory after becoming part of the MCU.

It makes sense that he would return on a similar note, since the last movie to feature him was darker and more mature than any of the other X-Men movies. There are parts of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that beg the question of what will happen to the rest of the X-men. It is safe to assume that people with x-factors will be a part of the studio's plays in the future.

There is not a release date for the third movie in the series.
