The Try Guys, a group of YouTube content creators who started at Buzzfeed and later formed their own production company, announced Tuesday they would part ways with executive producer and founding member Ned Fulmer, who admitted to cheating on his wife with an employee of the company.
The three remaining members of the group said in a statement that they could no longer see a path forward with Fulmer.
Fulmer apologized to his fans and his wife, who was often featured in The Try Guys, for engaging in a consensual workplace relationship.
She asked for privacy for the sake of the couple's two sons after thanking followers for their support.
Representatives for The Try Guys did not reply immediately.
There were 7.8 million people. The Try Guys have a large following on their main channel. The members are the main focus of their content. The remaining members tried out stand-up comed y, baking eclairs and eating at a buffet in Las Vegas in recent videos.
Fans had speculated for days that Fulmer was having an affair with an employee at The Try Guys. Fans theorize that Fulmer was edited out of some of the scenes he filmed. Images posted online show Fulmer kissing an employee in New York. Fulmer's wife and children were included in his content. Four members of the Try Guys left the company to form their own one year after forming it. A TikTok user compared the allegations against Fulmer to rumors of infidelity by Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine.
