According to a report, the Milwaukee Bucks are interested in a trade for the Phoenix Suns forward.

Lowe said on the Lowe Post that the Bucks would look at him. Before Portland swooped in, the Milwaukee Brewers were sniffing around Jerami Grant in Detroit. They like the idea of being switchable.

The veteran forward wouldn't participate in training camp while the team tries to find a trade. The 32-year-old is in the final year of his contract with the Suns.

According to John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports, the Suns did not plan to offer a contract extension to Crowder, who requested a trade to another team. Phoenix said that he would not be part of the starting unit.

As the Suns look to increase their spacing, it seems like a strong bet that CAMERON J Johnson will step into the starting lineup. The extended time at the 4 will be given to the man who missed the entire season.

The best player in basketball (Giannis Antetokounmpo) plays his position and the Bucks don't offer much hope for a starting spot. It is possible that Milwaukee will open the season playing big with Crowder at the 3, but that will only be a short-term solution until Khris Middleton returns from his wrist injury.

Crowder seems to be heading towards a different stage in his career and doesn't seem to be accepting of his new standing. There are few options for him to get a starter-size workload if he wants to play for a contender.
