The Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max would get more features towards the end of the year. There is a glimpse at what's to come, including being able to run up to two live activities at the same time.
The Dynamic Island's Live Activities, a feature Apple promised would come when it announced the iPhone 14 Pro, was included in the newest version of Apple's mobile operating system. Live Activities will show up-to-date information for any app that uses theAPI. From the top of the screen, you will be able to track your ride, delivery, or sports scores. The Dynamic Island is limited to a few apps that use the Call Kit.
There are three main ways to use Live Activities. When there is one active Live Activity and one minimal presentation, the compact presentation will be used. You can open the app both ways. The expanded presentation opens up some space below the camera cutout for additional information. It can be used with some apps, like the Timer, if you have an Apple device. Press and hold on it for a live activity.
The Dynamic Island isn't a major innovation, but it is Apple's clever way of making use of the display area that houses the camera so that it's not just dead space Apple encourages developers to present the most important content. Users don't expect to receive a lot of details or perform actions in a live activity The company encourages avoiding display of sensitive information and Live Activity to display ads or promotions. The idea is to keep that part of the interface simple.
The documentation is part of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines. The HIG offers recommendations on how to make an app that doesn't drive users back to the phone, that's a joke
I don't know what it's like to follow a game in real-time and two games at the same time. A game that is currently in session is the primary example for Live Activities. Live Activities will not be made public. When it arrives later this year, the full feature will be made available.
