Shrimp is one of the best sources of calories. It cooks quickly, tastes good, and can be served with any vegetable you want. You can cook Cajun shrimp, Old Bay shrimp, garlic shrimp, soy-ginger shrimp in less than 10 minutes in your air fryer.

The main concern is that the seasoning won't stick. Any oil you put on top of the sea bugs sticks. The coldness of the shrimp slows the oil down. It is so easy to cook shrimp this way, and it is my favorite method of cooking shrimp, at least when I am cooking for myself or my partner. They come out hot, plump, and juicy with a subtle snap, perfect for tossing into taco shells, onto pasta, or over a bed of greens.

You don't need a recipe to use it. Put the frozen shrimp in a big mixing bowl after you set your air fryer to 400F. You can't devein a frozen shrimp, so it's best to peel or at least devein. Shake on your favorite seasoning after coating it with oil. The entire prep work is shown here.

Shrimp can be dumped in the air fryer once it is heated to 400F. The amount of time they need to cook depends on the size of your shrimp and how much you cram into your air fryer basket. I was able to cook eight medium-sized peeled and deveined shrimp from frozen in just five minutes, so start checking around the three-minute mark and give the shrimp a little shake to make sure the seasonings are evenly dispersed

Shrimp should be cooked until they are opaque. I always add a few extra shrimp to the air fryer so I can slice them open and see if they are done. Take them out and have a good time. I ate them from the basket and I have no regrets.
