Olbermann said on his show that he used to date Sinema and urged her to leave her seat. Olbermann had a relationship with Sinema and believed that she had deviated from her progressive values. Olbermann remembered his time with the Arizona senator when he wrote about Sinema's efforts to work with McConnell. He said that when they dated in 2010-11, Kyrsten was a legit progressive. She has embraced the Political Industry where there is only process and not people. When we dated, in 2010-11, Kyrsten was a legit progressive, far to my left. Now she has embraced the Political Industry™️ where there is only process, not policy, and never people. Perfect solution: she can be the next host of @MeetThePresshttps://t.co/lSvKDDykjZ

Olbermann said that Sinema should resign after appearing with McConnell. He promised to explain the relevance of his nearly 8-year friendship with her.
The office of Sinema didn't reply to the request for comment.
Yes, I briefly dated Kyrsten Sinema and we were friends for nearly 8 years and after her delusional performance yesterday, she should resign from the Senate. You cannot campaign with and for Mitch McConnell and get away with it.

Democrats are frustrated by Sinema and Manchin for not supporting their legislative priorities. Sinema's support for restoring filibuster elements that have been weakened raised eyebrows, as she appeared with McConnell.
Olbermann didn't let it go to his head.
Olbermann said that for a long time he believed that there was no need to make the dating part public. I thought it was enough context for the friendship to precede and follow it for seven years. It turned out it wasn't.
