  • Samsung has opened up its Android 13 beta program to the Galaxy A52.
  • This is presumably the first mid-range Galaxy device to receive the One UI 5 beta.
  • The update is available in India but is likely to expand to more regions and additional versions of the device.

As we await the stable release of OneUI 5, the company is giving more users a chance to try it out. We were expecting to see initial testing for its flagship phones, but the company has already begun expanding to its mid-range phones.

According to the owners of the phone, their phones are now eligible for the OneUI 5beta program. The update is only available for the non-5G version of the A52 in India.

The program is already available for the A-series phones, but the update has only been available for the S22 and S21 Other flagships, including the best foldable phones, were probably going to get the alpha.

The A52 was one of the best mid-range phones of the year and only got better with the 5G version. We don't know when that version will get the beta, but we think it will be a while. It's not clear when the newer A53 5G will get the stable Android 13 update since it may be the only mid-range phone to get it.

Users of the A52 can sign up for the program in India. It's not a good idea to install it on your primary device as some things may not work.
