A Montana woman is in hot water after she skinned a dog that she killed and thought it was a baby wolf. In a series of very graphic photos she posted on her Facebook page, she showed off the dead dog before and after it was put down in the bed of her truck. She wrote, "So this morning I set out for a solo predator hunt for a fall black bear however I got the opportunity to take another predator wolf pup 2022. was a great feeling to text my man and say I just smoked a wolf pup." The horrifying kill went down somewhere in Montana's Flathead County, and the local Sheriff's Office, Animal Control and Fish and Game agencies all told us they were aware of it. People in the area are already up in arms and want her to pay. Several Facebook users have complained about her. The general consensus is that she could not have known this was a wolf. She insists she was in the right place. Rose told everyone that she had a wolf tag and that she made a mistake. She said she would do it all over again because she claimed the husky was aggressive and acting wild. She had the right to protect herself from wolves or not, so she didn't violate any laws. huskies tend to be larger and have a different look than wolves, which is one of the reasons why people are comparing them. At this point, we don't know who owned the husky, which was one of more than a dozen abandoned in the woods.
