The FBI arrested a Catholic pro-life activist in Pennsylvania last week using "SWAT-style tactics", while allowing actual terrorist acts like firebombings to go unrecognized.

Ryan-Marie Houck told Catholic News Agency that a team of about 25 came to her house with about 15 vehicles and started pounding on the door to arrest her husband.

According to the Justice Department, Houck pushed the escort to the ground when he tried to escort two patients out of the Philadelphia clinic. Houck pushed the escort to the ground outside the clinic. The escort was injured and needed medical attention.

Houck spoke outside of abortion clinics on a weekly basis and sometimes brought his son, according to his wife. She said that her husband shoved the escort after he said obscene things to her.

I want to know from Merrick Garland directly why Biden’s DOJ is arresting Catholic protestors like terrorists – complete with SWAT-style tactics – while letting actual terrorist acts like firebombings go unpunished pic.twitter.com/tU1Jwe4c7h

The FBI reportedly executed the search warrant in as extreme a manner as one can imagine, according to the letter. According to reports, the FBI sent as many as twenty to twenty-five agents to conduct the arrest. The FBI arrested Houck at gun point in front of his children.

It is unprecedented to use this kind of force to make an arrest.

A spokesman for the FBI's Philadelphia field office told Fox News that the claims are incorrect.

The person said there were no people involved. FBI agents knocked on Mr. Houck's door and told him to leave the house. He was taken into custody as a result of his actions.

A senior FBI source told the outlet that there were not 25 agents at the arrest, but that there may have been as many as 15 to 20 agents and that they had guns at the ready, but they were never pointed at Houck or his family.

According to the Department, Houck has been charged with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, which prohibits violent, threatening, damaging, and obstructive conduct intended to intimidate, or interfere with the right to seek, obtain or provide reproductive health services. It is a federal crime to violate the FACE Act.

The District Court in Philadelphia dismissed the lawsuit against Houck this summer, according to his wife.

The DOJ has turned a blind eye to the epidemic of violence across the country by pro-abortion extremists against pregnancy resource centers, houses of worship, and pro-life Americans.

There have been at least 104 incidents of violence against pro-life Americans since the Supreme Court draft opinion was leaked, according to the Missouri Republican.

"Despite my repeated requests, you have not identified a single prosecution the Department of Justice has taken in response to this epidemic of violence against pro-life Americans."

He wants Garland to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee about how he used the FACE Act.

Garland was given ten days to answer three questions, including why FBI agents were sent to Mark Houck's home to execute an arrest for alleged simple assault.
