After rumors that Apple was going to ditch the notch for a pill-shaped display cutout, the company finally announced it with the iPhone 14 Pro with some software tricks to hide the cutout. Dynamic Island gives users a new way to interact with notifications on their phones.

When we asked our readers if they liked the idea, opinions were mixed. A majority of the votes said that the feature is not good. 42% of the people say it's a cool feature, but they're not sure if it should come to the phone platform of their choice. The feature is just right according to 20% of people.

It is not different from what the best phones can do. It's similar to Apple taking an old feature and putting a spin on it to make it new.
