Android users aren't that impressed by the iPhone 14 Pro's Dynamic Island

• We asked our readers what they think of the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14.
• Roughly 40% think it's cool, but only half want to see something similar on Android.
• Around 35% of voters think the feature is lame, while 20% say it's "alright."

After rumors that Apple was going to ditch the notch for a pill-shaped display cutout, the company finally announced it with the iPhone 14 Pro with some software tricks to hide the cutout. Dynamic Island gives users a new way to interact with notifications on their phones.

When we asked our readers if they liked the idea, opinions were mixed. A majority of the votes said that the feature is not good. 42% of the people say it's a cool feature, but they're not sure if it should come to the phone platform of their choice. The feature is just right according to 20% of people.

It is not different from what the best phones can do. It's similar to Apple taking an old feature and putting a spin on it to make it new.

I've been confused by the whole thing. The hole-punch camera has been around for a decade. Absolutely an Apple move.
