The stakes in the football game are very high. When a play, call, or game doesn't go their way, a player or coach can go crazy. Tom Brady has lost his shit many times on the field and on the sideline.
The NFL sent a memo to all 32 teams warning them that they would be fined if they violated the rules again.
The first person to ignore the league's warning was Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Ken Dorsey. After the Bills lost to the Dolphins, Dorsey slammed his tablets in disgust. The former quarterback smashed the device.
The first chance to back up that stern warning sent out to every organization was given to the NFL. The league would have fined Brady if they wanted to make an example of it. Everyone will be watching to see what the league says about the explosion.
It is not clear if this new rule applies to coaches or if it is only for players. You wouldn't think anyone who broke the league property would be included under this umbrella. This should be great.
