First trailer for HBO's The Last of Us looks just like the game

The Last of Us is a TV series based on a video game. Fans will get their first look at the world presented in the series in the clip.

The Last of Us is an attempt to take everything that made the original PS3 series such a success and bring it into reality. The trailer gives fans a quick synopsis of what to expect from the show.

Other characters that are important to the franchise's mythos are shown along with a look at the two main characters. The trailer features appearances by Anna Torv as a partner in crime and Gabriel Luna as a brother and sister. Along with those characters, we are given a look at the world before and after the first outbreak. When he sees one, he suggests that the TV version is also sensitive to noise.

The events covered in the series won't be exclusive to the base game, according to the trailer. The DLC chapter will be adapted in some way. The carousel scene in the game is recreated in the trailer.

There is no release date for The Last of Us, but viewers can expect to be able to watch it on the internet in 2023.
