For the seventh year in a row, Qatar Airways has been named the best airline.
Skytrax has named the airline of the year for 2022.
This is the seventh time that the main award has been won by the Doha-based carrier, but the awards were not issued in 2020 so this is the third year in a row that they have won.
Second and third place went to Singapore Airlines.
Turkish Airlines came in at seventh.
US airlines didn't make the top ten. Delta Air Lines made it at 24th.
United Airlines came in at 60th.
The airline won three more awards including "World's Best Business Class", "World's Best Business Class Lounge Dining" and "Best Airline in the Middle East".
Akbar Al Baker said, "To be named as the World's Best Airline was always a goal when we were created, but to win it for the seventh time and pick up three additional awards is a testament to all the hard work of our incredible team."
