The other famous Adam with a nearly identical name to the Maroon 5 singer is chiming in on Adam Levines cheating scandal.

Adam Devine has probably benefited from any confusion around his name. Levine was accused of sending flirtatious messages to several women who weren't his wife.

I want to let everyone know that my wife and I are doing well. I am not a member of the Levine family. Devine wrote in his post that he was a different guy and a worse singer.

The caption said "We are however naming our future baby Sumner"

The model who accused Levine of having an extramarital affair with her posted a video on TikTok.

The singer's alleged messages were shared with a serious question. If it's a boy, I want to name it Sumner. Are you okay with that? It's dead serious.

Levine and his wife are expecting their third child and the singer made it clear that his marriage to the model was over.

On Tuesday, the singer admitted that he hadcrossed the line during a regrettable period in his life, but denied that he had a physical affair.

He said in a statement that he used poor judgement when talking to anyone other than his wife. I crossed the line despite not having an affair.

It became inappropriate in some cases. I have taken steps to fix this with my family. The greatest mistake I could ever make was being naive and stupid. I will not go back. I take responsibility for my actions. We will get through it.

Devine was praised by fellow comedians and actors for his funny post.

In the comments, Daddario said that she was out of character for him.

That's right! Whitney said that she knew you had been waiting for this day to come.

After four years of dating and tying the knot, Devine and Bridges got engaged in October of 2019.
