According to a former technical adviser to the January 6 committee, texts former White House Chief of Staff MarkMeadows turned over provide "irrefutable" proof of a plan to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The comment was made by a former Republican congressman during an interview with CBS News. He said that Meadows' text messages showed a plan to overturn the election.

He said that it showed the evolution of the beginning arguments from alternate electors.

Riggleman was asked if he believed that the texts provided irrefutable proof of a comprehensive plot to overturn the election.

"Irrefutable," said Riggleman. I think as early as November 5th or November 6th, they were talking about alternate electors.

In the days after the election, Meadows received many text messages from Donald Trump Jr., who explained an alternate electors plan that would allow his father to win.

The CEO of MyPillow and a Republican lawmaker sent text messages to the former chief of staff about how to address the election. The Insider had compiled a list of all the texts that Meadows had received.

The administration was eaten up by a digital virus called QAnon and conspiracy theories. It is possible to look at the text messages as a road map, but it is also a look into the Republican party's current state.

It's not clear if all of the relevant texts were turned over, but what we got is pretty valuable.

The lawyer did not reply to the request for comment.
