Mac Jones suffers ankle injury late in Patriots' loss (0:25)

The Pats lost to the Ravens late in the game. There is a time and a place for it.

4:27 PM ET

Mac Jones was being evaluated for a leg injury he sustained late in the game. He went to the locker room for an evaluation after he hopped off the field.

On Jones' last pass attempt of the day, he was hit by Campbell and grabbed for his left ankle.

Campbell left his feet after hitting Jones and then landed on him. Campbell landed on the lower portion of Jones' leg.

Jones got up and went to the sideline. Jones went straight to the locker room instead of going to the sideline.

The coach didn't have an update on Jones' condition. Jones was not available for a news conference after the game.

Jones finished the game with 302 yards and no touchdown. He had one touchdown and five runs.

The Green Bay Packers are playing the New England Pats.

New England's top backup is veteran Brian Hoyer.

The center, one of the team's captains, was asked how much confidence the team has in the quarterback if he is called upon.

It's tons. "Brian has been here a long while." He prepares like he is going to play and I have a lot of respect for that.
