Georgia has held the top spot in the AP Top 25 for three weeks in a row.

They are still ahead of Alabama and Ohio State.

There is a poll.

  1. Georgia
  2. Alabama
  3. Ohio State
  4. Michigan
  5. Clemson
  6. USC
  7. Kentucky
  8. Tennessee
  9. Oklahoma State
  10. North Carolina State
  11. Penn State
  12. Utah
  13. Oregon
  14. Ole Miss
  15. Washington
  16. Baylor
  17. Texas A&M
  18. Oklahoma
  19. BYU
  20. Arkansas
  21. Minnesota
  22. Wake Forest
  23. Florida State
  24. Pittsburgh
  25. Kansas State

The biggest issue when it came to the top of the poll was whether voters would punish the teams that had a harder time than expected.

Through its first three games, Georgia gave up 10 points to Kent State.

That could've opened the way for Alabama to regain the top spot after a 55-3 win over Commodores. The 52-21 win over Wisconsin by Ohio State was more one-sided than the score indicates. The voters might have been leaning towards the Buckeyes.

The 4th week was about winning ugly.

The Tigers needed overtime to beat Wake Forest, and the USC trailed Oregon State until Jordan Addison's go-ahead touchdown reception with one minute and 13 seconds left in the game.

The Oregon team is fresh off a big win. It took 29 points in the fourth quarter to beat Washington State. Mase Funa had a pick-six at the end of the fourth quarter.

Both Oklahoma and Arkansas were not so lucky.

Adrian Martinez, a former Nebraska quarterback, threw for 234 yards and ran for 148 yards and was responsible for five touchdown as he avenged a loss to the Sooners.

The Razorbacks had a 14-0 lead in the first quarter against Texas A&M, but couldn't hold onto it.

Little had a chance to put Arkansas back on top, but his field goal attempt missed the top of the upright.

Thanks to the outcome, A&M and Arkansas went in different directions. The Razorbacks fell out of the top 10 to 20th.

Oklahoma lost its ranking and fell to 18th.

College football fans will want to clear their schedule so they can watch the game.

Ole Miss plays Kentucky in the noon time slot while Michigan plays Iowa in a road game. The Razorbacks are playing Alabama at 3:30 p.m., so we'll find out how good Arkansas is. At 7:30 p.m., North Carolina State will be placed in prime-time. It could be the difference in the title race.
