The script was written by Silka Luisa. The author of "Shining Girls," currently on Apple TV+, was also a producer on theunderappreciated "Halo." It was a concern of every sci-fi enthusiast and their dog that it wouldn't be as good as the first film and would end up like "Demolition Man" instead.
