Nancy Pelosi booed during surprise appearance at NYC music festival, videos appear to show

Nancy Pelosi made a surprise appearance at a music festival in New York City on Saturday night, and the attendees booed her.

Pelosi, wearing a white pantsuit with a matching scarf, took to the stage of NYC's Global Citizen music festival where she was booed by those in the audience.

Pelosi spoke briefly about carbon pollution and climate change after being introduced to the stage by the wife of a musician.

The mayor of New York, Bill de Blasio, was booed at a concert.

She told the crowd that she was here to thank them for their determination as global citizens.

Climate change is out of time.

Better water and air for our children is one of the things the California representative can be heard calling for.

The crowd continued to respond loudly when she said something.

Pelosi mentioned that her grandsons were in the audience as well.
