According to reports, Apple is planning to replace the 11-inch iPad Pro with a new model as early as next month.
The new iPad Pro models feature a mini-LED display, 5G, and a M1 chip. They have been on sale for over a year.
The previous longest-reigning iPad Pro model was the 2016's 9.7-inch iPad Pro, which was one day older. The first-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro is 59 days older than the new model. The first-generation iPad Pro was only available in two sizes, a 12.9-inch and a 9.7-inch.
Since the launch of the original version almost seven years ago, customers have not been used to such a long wait for new models.
Next month, Apple is expected to announce new iPad Pro models. The new iPad Pro models are expected to be launched by several major retailers. The next-gen iPad Pro models are expected to feature the M2 chip, MagSafe wireless charging, two new four-pin connectors on the top and bottom side edges, and camera upgrades.
