According to sources, the Los Angeles Clippers quarterback is expected to make a decision during the warm-ups on Sunday about whether to take a pain-killing injection in order to play in the game.
A source said Herbert was pushing to play. There was growing skepticism about Herbert's status going into the weekend; the decision to play has bounced back and forth all week.
