The Witcher: Blood Origin will debut on Christmas Day this year, just in time for the holiday season.
The series features Sophia Brown as ile, an elven warrior turned nomadic musician, as well as Laurence O' Fuarain as Fjall, a mystical swordmaster. As the Conjuction creates a world of Elves, men, and monsters, there is a rise of a new kind of warrior to protect it from the shadows.
According to the Blood Origin segment of the event, Minnie Driver has been added to the cast. Driver will play a shapeshifter named Seanchai who can hop between time periods and other worlds. The show's narrator will be her. She said that she was crucial in helping people understand where the story came from.
The first episode of The Witcher: Blood Origin will be aired on December 25.
