Bill Gates says he and his ex-wife, Melinda French Gates, plan to run foundation together for 25 more years

Bill Gates said that the foundation has been around for 25 years.

Gates and French founded the organization. They were married but divorced.

According to Gates, the goal for the foundation is to run for another 25 years. We will be around to make sure it stays on track.

Gates and French Gates will be 83 years old in 25 years. The Giving Pledge was created in 2010 by Gates and French Gates, asking billionaires to publicly commit to give most of their wealth away to charity.

Gates said that spending all the money in that time period makes sense. We are committed to raising the spend level.

Gates said that they will try and bring infectious disease to an end, either through eradication or getting them down to very low levels.

The foundation has committed $912 million to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.

Gates said in a 2015 Ted Talk that the world was not ready for the next epidemic. He released a book called "How to prevent the Next Pandemic" in May and called for a global task force to monitor for future Pandemics.
