Spencer Strider was placed on the 15-day injured list by the Atlanta Braves.
The move is retroactive to the 21st. He told the team after the win that he didn't feel right. The Braves are trying to avoid a trip to the Illinois by postponing the next start.
In his first full season with Atlanta, Strider went 11-5 with a 2.67ERA and 202 strikeouts in 31 appearances. He has recorded at least 10 strikeouts in a game six times this season, including two this month, one against the Rockies and another against the Phils.
The record for fastest to 200 strikeouts in a single season was set by Strider, who struck out 200 in 130 appearances.
The Atlanta Braves are 212 games behind the New York Mets for first place in the NL East.
