Variety and Deadline have reported that the lawsuit against the creators of The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical has been dismissed byNetflix. According to the court filing obtained by Deadline, the streamer can't reopen the case in the future because they moved to "dismiss this action with prejudice."

On Thursday, the duo was supposed to respond to the complaint, but they never did. It is not clear if they reached a settlement with the streamer, but the two ended up canceling their September 20th concert at Royal Albert Hall in London.

Barlow and Bear were sued by the company after they held a sold-out concert in Washington DC that was not authorized by the company. It was argued that it could cause confusion among fans who want to attend the Bridgerton Experience, which is held in several cities.

Barlow and Bear started making music after the show aired. A 15-song album was released earlier this year and won a gramophone. A post on the streamer's account said it was "blown away" by the way the project unfolded.

The Verge reached out to Barlow and Bear, but they didn't reply immediately.
