According to sources, the Tennessee wide receiver will not play on Saturday because of an ankle injury.

He injured his ankle in the second quarter against the Zips. With Tennessee having a bye next week, there is hope that he will be back for the LSU game.

He was the most productive returning receiver in the SEC and a first-team all-conference selection, and he is consideredTennessee's top receiving threat. He had 17 catches for 246 yards and a touchdown in three games.

The Tennessee offense relies on the passing game and vertical routes a lot. Jalin Hyatt, who is Tennessee's leading pass-catcher this season with 18 catches for 267 yards and three touchdown, is expected to be more looked at by the quarterback. The USC transfer will likely see more targets. He has caught eight passes for over 100 yards.

Ramel Keyton, who has five catches for 114 yards and one touchdown, is expected to be the new starter. Walker Merrill could also get more snaps.

Tennessee's total offense and passing offense are both ranked in the top five. They score at a rate of 52.0 points a game.
