It has been a busy month for Apple. The company released the new Apple Watches last week, followed by the new Apple Watches this week. The software was released by Apple.

Rumors suggest that Apple has a lot on its schedule through the end of the year. We put together a list of some of the big announcements that Apple will make this year.

iPhone 14 Plus Launch

The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are available starting October 7. Apple didn't give a reason for the staggered release, but the iPhone 14 Plus is a brand new option in the lineup and will be the first non-pro model with a large 6.7-inch display.

Car crash detection, upcoming support for emergency texting via satellite in the U.S. and Canada, longer battery life, improved cameras, and a more repairable design are some of the new features of the Apple device. The A15 chip used in the device is the same chip used in the iPhone 13 Pro

The display size, battery life, weight, and price are the only differences between the two phones.

iOS 16.1 With Live Activities and More

There will be a new version of the operating system later this year, according to Apple. Live Activities support in third-party apps, a Clean Energy Charging option in the United States, support for Matter accessories in the Home app, and more will be included in the software update.

It's not clear if the new Freeform digital whiteboard app will be included in the next version of the operating system.

Apple Event in October

Apple usually announces new iPad and Mac models in October, and this year will probably be no exception. The next event could be held in early October, but it's not certain.

iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura Release Dates

The general public will be able to get iPadOS 16 in October. During its October event, Apple is likely to announce release dates for the software updates.

iPadOS 16 was expected to be released in September alongside iOS 16 but Apple delayed the software update until October to focus on making improvements to Stage Manager after some users criticized the feature. The update will be called iPadOS 16.1 instead of iPadOS 1 6.0.

Apple Music Classical

Apple acquired Primephonic in August of 2021. Primephonic's user interface and additional features will be combined with a dedicated classical music app from Apple.

There are few details about the dedicated Apple Music Classical app, but it should be available soon.
