This is the second time this week that Hostin has come under fire for suggesting Republican Latinos vote against their own interests.

The show's hosts were discussing recent comments by former Trump White House senior adviserJared Kushner, who said that President Biden's push to overturn former President Trump's border policies has created a "catastrophe" at the southern border.

Hostin said that there are a lot of Latino Republicans who vote against their own interests. If you are interested in these issues then you are a Democrat.

Hostin has said before that people of color need to be Democrats.

Hostin told her co- hosts that she didn't understand them. I don't understand black and Latino Republicans.

She came under fire for accusing CNN commentator Van Jones of being a "chameleon" and giving "racial cover" to former President Donald Trump.

She suggested that the former ambassador to the United Nations use her first name as a disguise for her Indian heritage.

Hostin said on Tuesday's show that there are some people who can be chameleons and not embrace their ethnicities so that they can pass.

She was then interrupted by her co- host. You change your name to a different one.

Hostin said that most Americans can't say Asuncin because of the under education.

Haley said that it was racist of you to judge her name. I am proud that I have a birth certificate that says my name isNikki. The left is hypocrites when it comes to conservatives. I checked your birth name and it wasn't yours.

Since she was born, Haley has been referred to as "Nikki" Her parents came to the US.

There were claims last year that Haley had changed her name to become a politician. It's a nickname that means "little one" in Punjab.

According to USA Today, Haley was the former governor's married name that she adopted after she wed her husband.
