George Kittle had the best day of his career when he played for the 49ers against the Broncos. Kittle's return from the groin injury that kept him out for the first two weeks of the season could not come at a better time.
Kittle will make his season debut against the Broncos.
He's good to go, according to Shanahan. He was getting better each day. The run and pass game are important to him. Kittle has been a good player for us over the years. We need to get him back into football shape just because he hasn't played in a while, but he helps us in so many ways.
Kittle participated in the first two sessions on a limited basis and went in full Friday. On the Friday injury report, he had no injury designation.

The Niners had a bonus practice before the season opener to help Kittle recover from his groin injury. He did not play that week or last week and did not participate in practice for the first time that day.
With Kittle back, Jimmy Garoppolo will have his full complement of pass catchers in his first start of the season. The Niners don't mind if Kittle recreates his performance from the last time they met.
Kittle had seven catches and a touchdown in the San Francisco win. Kittle was shut out in the second half, which left him just shy of Shannon Sharpe's record for receiving yards by a tight end in a game.
Kittle is excited to be back on the field regardless of the opponent.

Arik Armstead is a defensive lineman for the 49ers. The status of Armstead is up in the air because he is dealing with a foot injury. Armstead didn't practice this week.
