One of the biggest events of next year could be without Taylor Swift.

According to Variety, Swift will perform in the Super Bowl halftime show.

Swift won't perform in Arizona according to a conflicting report by the sports website. The people confirmed the report.

The National Football League signed a multiyear agreement with Apple Music for the halftime show. In May, the league ended its agreement with the soft drink company.

Swift's fans speculated that she would headline the show after the announcement. Swift is known for her midnight album releases. She will release a new album, called Midnights, on October 21st.

Swift did not perform in the Super Bowl halftime show. Swift couldn't participate in the event because of her contract with Coca-Cola.

There is a lot of uncertainty in the situation. If Swift does headline the show, she will be one of the biggest female stars to do so, along with Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, Madonna, and many more.

State Farm Stadium is the home of the Arizona Cards.
