Iguodala will return for his 19th and final season on Friday.

Iguodala wants to stay with the Golden State Warriors.

The Philadelphia 76ers drafted Iguodala ninth overall in the 2004 NBA draft. He was an All-Star in the 2012 season.

The Philadelphia 76ers traded Iguodala to the Denver Nuggets. He spent a single season in Denver before moving to the Warriors in the same year.

Iguodala became an important part of the Warriors' dynasty, winning five Western Conference titles and three NBA crowns while serving as the team's top reserve.

He had his best hours during the NBA Finals in 2015, when he averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebound and 4.0 assists per game.

The Miami Heat made the NBA finals in Iguodala's first year with the team. After playing one more year in Miami, he re-signed with the Warriors as a free agent in the summer of 2021.

He missed six regular-season games due to injuries. He sat out over a month with a neck injury after playing four first-round games.

Steve Kerr said it was a huge loss when the injury was revealed.

Iguodala won his fourth NBA title after returning for the finals.

The NBA reporter said that the team expected Iguodala to return.

Iguodala is expected to play for one more season but the Warriors are prepared for any outcome and are open to bringing the 18-year veteran back on his timetable.

During the back half of his career, he didn't put up gaudy numbers, but hisVersatility has allowed the Warriors to put out some incredible lineups, including one that included him, Draymond Green, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry.

Iguodala has made an indelible mark on the game and will go down as one of the best glue guys this century, even though he doesn't have a Hall of Fame resume.
