Gingrich insulted a Capitol Hill reporter after he asked him to comment on the House Select Committee investigating the attack on the U.S Capitol.
During a press scrum at the Capitol on Thursday, Scott Wong, a reporter for NBC News, asked Gingrich what he thought about the January 6 committee.
Gingrich ignored Wong and moved on to another reporter.
The reporter asked Gingrich if he had any thoughts about the committee.
Gingrich turned to Wong and said that he thought Wong had a learning disability.
The former Speaker pointed to his head and told Wong to try the phrase "I don't talk about it"
Gingrich has been a strong supporter of former President Trump. According to reports, he was asked by the select panel to provide information about his communications with advisers to Trump.
