Shortly after he met with US President Joe Biden in New York, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol was caught on a hot mic saying "idiots", according to reports.
"If these idiots don't pass it in Congress, it will be so embarrassing for Biden," Yoon was heard telling aides in a now-viral clip.

According to The Post, the presidential office in South Korea said that the comments were not directed at the US.
According to the news outlet, Yoon's spokeswoman said that he was talking about South Korea's parliament and not mentioning Biden's name.
"Hey, only we get to say that", said Michigan GOP Rep. Peter Meijer in a message on his verified account.
