The design of the AirPods Pro is almost the same as the original AirPods Pro, but there are some changes to the charging case. Apple isn't selling its own lanyard, so you'll need a solution from a company like Incase.

The MagSafe Charging Case is compatible with the Find My app so you can find the case and the AirPods individually. If you lose a U1 chip for Precision Finding, you need to find it.

It's possible to charge the AirPods Pro 2 with either MagSafe or Lightning, and Apple added support for the Apple Watch charging port. You can charge whatever you want.

A new H2 chip and all new audio components are included in the redesign of the AirPods Pro. It's the same as before, but now you can choose from S, M, and L, as well as S, M, and L.

The H2 chip can double the cancellation of noise. You will hear an improvement if you go into some noisy environments with heavy traffic, construction, or the hum of an airplane.

The H2 chip is used to enable adaptive transparency. It works well because it cuts down on loud noises like sirens. Apple has always had an advantage over other manufacturers when it comes to transparency mode.

Apple added a new driver and amplifier to the AirPods Pro for better sound. There's definitely improved range at the low-end with more bass, but we didn't notice a huge difference between the original AirPods Pro and the new one.

Apple added a touch control for adjusting volume without having to access your device, which is a useful addition, but you can still use the same button presses you used with the previous AirPods Pro.

Up to six hours of listening time and 30 hours total with the case improves the battery life. We haven't had time to do a lot of testing with battery life, but that's what Apple thinks, thanks to the H2 chip.

These are worth the upgrade. If you want to get access to improved ANC or if your model is showing signs of issues with battery life, you should pick up the AirPods Pro.
