The Chase Ink Plus, Ink Cash, and Amex SimplyCash Plus will all give you 5X/5% back on your purchases. I assume you can visit multiple stores and ask to do multiple transactions despite the terms.
The card can be used with a PIN. The card number is the last digit of the PIN. My previous strategy can be used for normal spending. Changes at Walmart have made them harder to use.
It’s nice to see Staples move away from the restricted rebate program to a discount that is seemingly more scalable. Test it out with multiple Mastercard gift cards in same transactions, and hopefully it works again. That would make things much easier.
