The quarterback faked a handoff to the running back on third-and-1. Cooper caught a 32-yard reception at the Pittsburgh 39-yard line after running away from the other team's defensive back. After punching the ball into the end zone, Cleveland went up by two scores. Cooper became the first player in nine years to have more than 100 yards receiving and a touchdown in back-to-back games when he caught the key play-action reception.

The quarterback breakdown shows that Brissett did a good job in his third start for the Cleveland. He threw a pair of touchdown passes in the first half, the first to Cooper on a slant and the second to David Njoku at the back of the goal line. In the game, Brissett was 21-of-31 passing for 220 yards.

Anthony Walker was carted off the field with a left knee injury. Owosu- Koramoah left the game due to a quad injury. Jadeveon Clowney injured his ankle last weekend.

In the last two games, Cooper has a receiving touchdown. There were no receiving touchdown catches by the Cleveland wide receiver last season.

The next game is at Falcons. The event will take place on October 2nd.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The offense was preached an aggressive approach by the team. They did it for a half.

The defense couldn't generate a pass rush and the offense couldn't sustain drives in the second half of the loss to the Cleveland.

The Steelers struggled to get an effective pass rush in T.J. Watt's absence. There was only one sack until late in the fourth quarter. In the first half, only three of his dropbacks were pressured. There were a lot of miscommunications and breakdowns in the back end of the Pittsburgh's secondary. The receiver was given too much room on the 11-yard pass from Brissett to Cooper. Cooper racked up 101 yards on 7 catches. Chubb and Hunt were able to run the ball because of the pass rush's inefficiency.

The biggest hole in the game plan was the lack of targets in the middle of the field. Pat Freiermuth was not targeted until the fourth quarter. Trubisky threw it into triple coverage. An impressive grab for a 26 yard gain was Freiermuth's first catch. He followed it up with another 15 yard run. It was too late for those completions to make a difference.

Trubisky did what he said he needed to do in the days leading up to the game, he was more aggressive and he was able to hit George Pickens. The longest pass play of the season came in the first half, when Trubisky connected with Pickens for a 36-yard completion. In the second half, Trubisky and the offense reverted to their old ways. After completing 9 of 13 passes for109 yards in the first half, Trubisky completed 6 of 12 passes for 41 yards until the final drive of the fourth quarter, when he moved the ball into range for a field goal.

George got a hand under the ball.

Three different players from the same team have made a one-handed catch this season. The only other team that has had more than one one-handed reception is us.

The next game is against the Jets. The event will take place on October 2nd.
