Bennie Thompson urged the Biden administration on Thursday to look into any laws that might have been broken by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The chair of the House Homeland Security Committee wrote a letter to the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security.

Thompson wrote that he was concerned about the allegations that the migrants who were flown to Martha's Vineyard were coerced to board the flight.

Thompson wants an immediate review of what the migrants have gone through in order to make immigration policy a deciding factor in the election.

Thompson said that a letter from the chairman asking for the administration to review it would be enough.

Thompson is one of a growing number of people demanding investigations into the stunt.

The conduct of all of those involved was urged to be investigated by the two state representatives from Massachusetts.

The Democratic candidate for governor, Charlie Crist, tried to pull Garland into the fight. Within hours of the migrants stepping foot on Martha's Vineyard, Crist said justice needed to be served.

The sheriff opened his own criminal investigation into the matter.

The governor of California has urged Garland to look into the matter.

McConnell told congressional reporters that he thought the project was a good one.
