Trump lashes out on social media after NY AG James files lawsuit on fraud claims

One day after the New York Attorney General filed a fraud lawsuit against him and his family members, Donald Trump lashed out at her in a social media post.

When it came to protecting the people of New York State, Trump called James a terrible A.G. and praised her opponent, Michael Henry. A number of attacks on James were shared by him.

There were many messages posted by Trump endorsing the idea that he should run for president again. The headline is "Trump should announce his candidacy before the midterms."

Trump, three of his adult children and some of his business associates are accused of submitting years of fraudulent financial statements in order to achieve various financial benefits. A lawsuit was filed in the Manhattan Supreme Court.

She said that her office sent a criminal referral to the IRS and federal prosecutors in Manhattan to investigate possible federal crimes.

A spokeswoman for James didn't reply to a request for comment on Trump's posts

A criminal investigation by the Department of Justice that led FBI agents to raid his Florida home is one of several legal challenges facing Trump.

The appeals court ruled in favor of the DOJ. About 100 classified documents were seized in the raid of Mar-a-Lago.

The New York official, who had promised to investigate the then-president, was one of the first targets of Trump. Trump referred to James as a racist in a Truth Social post.

His latest attacks on the AG came in a string of more than three dozen posts and re-posts that included flattering articles about the ex-president, as well as lashing out at some of his perceived political enemies.

He shared negative messages about Nancy Pelosi and other figures.

In one post, Trump took aim at his former vice president, as he once again suggested that widespread fraud led to his 2020 election loss. The message came in response to the House passing a bill to reform the electoral process, which Trump claimed proves that Pence could have rejected states' electoral votes for Biden.

Trump is said to be endorsing the idea that he should run for president again.

Trump hasn't officially announced a campaign but has suggested he is. He re-posted the headlines "Trump is running," "The Washington Establishment Fears A Second Term Trump" and "Donald Trump Must Be The Republican Nominee."
