The Iranian government is being targeted by the notorious hacking collective.

The collective launched a cyber operation against the Iranians.

Iran's morality police arrested Amini for wearing an "improper" hijab. She was taken to the hospital where she was in a coma for three days. It is widely believed that the young woman was beaten to death by "morality" officers.

This was the end of things. The streets are filled with cries of freedom and the shouts of brave people as a voice in a video claims to be from Anonymous. Iran's people are not alone.

Government Restrictions

A number of state-run websites have been rendered inoperable by Anonymous. The hacking collective claims to have broken into Iranian state television, more than 300 security cameras, and the country's central bank.

The tool developed by the hackers allows Iranians to circumvent state restrictions on communication channels and social platforms. authoritarian governments use disrupting communication pathways as an anti- protest tool. It's easier to control the narrative if you limit the dissemination of information. The state-set limitations feel significant.

The Iranian government hasn't commented on the claims.

Citizen Action

There is a violent situation in Iran. Police have been using teargas and batons to break up protests. The death of Amini has caused residents to cut their hair and burn their hijabs in defiance of the country's morality laws.

Student protesters gathered at a university campus in Tehran and yelled "killings after killings" as seen in a video.

There is a lot of international support for the people of Iran, including that of Anonymous.

Iran state websites were hacked after the death of a woman.

There is a war on anti-Abortion states.
