When Judge hit his 50th home run of the season on August 29, the average list price on the secondary market for Yankees home games went up 121%.

The average secondary market price for tickets is $382 for Saturday's game, followed by Friday's game, Sunday's game and the game on Thursday.

The most expensive ticket on StubHub is $9,499, while the most expensive ticket on VividSeats is $8,499.

The cheapest seats in the left field bleachers have increased in price by 281%, while the cheapest seats in the right field bleachers have increased by 278%.

Judge is tied with Babe Ruth for the second-most homers in a single season, which Ruth hit in 1927, and one away from Roger Maris' record of 61, which he accomplished in 1961.

The fan who caught Judge's 60th and 61st home runs returned it to the team for a signed bat and other baseballs. The New York Times reported that Judge will swing at his 60th ball with a stenciled mark and an invisible mark that requires special technology to see.

Tangent

Although 62 home runs would be a record in the American League, it would place Judge seventh on the all-time list when including National League statistics. Bonds, McGwire and Sosa all tested positive for the drugs, and McGwire has admitted to using them, while Sosa denies ever having used them.

Key Background

Judge was named the American League's rookies of the year after hitting 52 home runs in his first season. He is first in all three categories and is a front-runner for the MLB's coveted triple crown award. He has 218 career home runs, the 23rd most of all active players, and he is the third- youngest of the 23.

Big Number

$18 million. Spotrac says that the Yankees are paying Judge a lot. Baseball analysts think that the Yankees right fielder will get a lot of offers at the end of the season. The New York Post reported earlier this year that Judge rejected a seven-year, $213 million contract extension for New York.

Judge has a home run record, but he is more than that.

Some lucky fans might be able to get their hands on a potential record home run ball from Judge.
