Some users have had issues opening the app on their phones. Downdetector showed that the app went down for under an hour between 12:30PM and 1:30PM, making it hard for users to see any posts.

There was a technical issue that caused some people to not be able to access Instagram. We were able to resolve the issue quickly and apologize for any delays. The all-clear was given on the brand's social media accounts.

For some of our staff, the service seemed to work perfectly, but others experienced crashes when trying to view stories. The crashes have largely gone away, but there is still some weirdness with theUI, for example, one staffer got a notification that should have gone out months ago, and the create button has moved back to where the Reels button should be.
