Taiwan Set To Remove 3-Day Quarantine For Incoming Travelers October 13, 2022

Unless there are unforeseen changes in covid numbers over the next couple of weeks, Taiwan will scrap the 3-day guarantee for incoming travelers on October 13, 2022.

The maximum weekly arrivals cap will be raised to 150,000 on the same day. Public transportation can be used by incoming passengers.

If there are any symptoms, incoming passengers will be given four rapid antigen tests to be used. The weekly arrivals cap is raised at the same time.

If there is no escalation of the COVID-19 situation over the next three weeks, the quarantine mandate will be lifted, and starting Oct. 13, arriving travelers will need only to observe seven days of “self-initiated epidemic prevention,” he said, referring to the proposed policy dubbed “0+7.”
