Former First Lady Melania Trump walks through the East Wing of the White House, which she decorated, during Christmas in 2017.

The former first lady wants the public to know that Christmas is important to her, despite what the mainstream media has said in the past. You ask why. She is selling Christmas ornaments and NFTs in time for the holiday season.

The news of Trump's Christmas ornament and NFT collection dropped last week, sparking outrage across the internet as well as references to a recorded conversation from last year in which the then-first lady said, "Who gives a fuck about Christmas stuff and decorations?"

In a statement to Breitbart News on Tuesday, the former first lady said that her "untrustworthy" former aide, who was fired by Trump, wrote a tell-all book titled "Melania and Me."

Trump said he would set the record straight because the mainstream media had failed to provide context. Christmas is an important time for me, my family, and the American people, and my devotion to the holiday is personal and profound.

Trump claims that she was upset with the situation at the border. She made waves with a jacket she wore that said "I really don't care" when she visited a Texas border town that held migrant children. There is a message on the back of the vehicle.

According to Trump, most people agree that reunification of migrant children with their parents is more important. The deletion of this part of our conversation shows her intent.

Trump said in the recording that he was working on Christmas planning for the children. They were not together. I need a break. Did they say anything when Obama did that?
