A debridement of Ball's left knee could keep him out for the start of the season.

In four to six weeks, he will be re- evaluated. The Bulls will play the Miami Heat on October 19th.

After just 35 games, Ball's season ended because of a knee injury he sustained in January.

He was supposed to be out for a couple of months after he injured his knee, but he was shut down in April after he continued to experience pain with high-level physical activity.

Ball was expected to miss training camp and be doubtful for the start of the 2022-23 season due to his injury, according to reports.

In his first five seasons, the second overall pick averaged just 50.4 games played, only once topping 60 games.

He can fill up the stat sheet when he's on the floor. He had an injury last year that caused him to average 13.0 points, 5.4 Rebound, 5.1 Assists and 1.8Steals per game.
