The data from Mixpanel shows that iPhone users are adopting the new operating system at a faster rate than they did last year. Within nine days after launch, an estimated 23.26 percent of iPhones have the new operating system.

It took 10 days after the launch of iOS 15 for it to be installed on 19.3 percent of devices.

There's a redesign of the Lock Screen experience, along with Lock ScreenWidgets, which makes it easier to use.

If you want to stay on the current version of the software, Apple will give you a security update, and you don't need to update to the newer version of the software. The same thing was done last year with the launch of the new version of the operating system.

Live Activities for the Lock Screen and changes to the battery indicator in the status bar are some of the features that will be added in the next update.

With the adoption of iOS 16 growing by the hour, an estimated 66.96 percent of devices are now running the latest version of the operating system. The numbers are not official because the data comes from visits to websites and apps.

Apple has not yet provided details on how many devices are running the new operating system, but Mixpanel's data has not historically been too far off of the actual number.
