For the second time in three days, Alabama received a commitment from an athlete after wide receiver Jalen Hale made his announcement.

The eighth-ranked receiver in the class is Hale.

He visited Tuscaloosa on Sept. 3 and watched Alabama play at Texas the next day.

Hale is the second defensive tackle to commit to the Tide in as many days.

The Tide have overtaken Notre Dame to become the top ranked class in the country.

Hale is a member of Alabama's class. In his junior year of high school, Hale caught 50 passes and scored 14 times.

He has four touchdown catches in four games this season.
