Liam Rosenior: Derby County relieve interim manager of duties

Rooney resigned from the club by the time David Clowes completed his takeover.

The Rams only had five contracted players before Rosenior was put in interim charge and helped rebuild the side with a recruitment drive that brought in 14 new players.

Despite Rosenior losing just three of his 12 games in charge, Clowes has decided to look elsewhere for a permanent manager.

It is thought that Paul Warne is a person who is interested in the Derby hierarchy.
