Although ABC7 Chicago reported that the winning ticket was purchased at a gas station in Des Plaines, Illinois, lottery officials told the Associated Press that the two people who won the prize chose to remain anonymous.

They won the Mega Millions on July 29 after the prize grew for 29 draws in a row without a six-number combination.
