Two new apps for the Apple Watch Ultra are on the App Store.
If users become lost or injured, it's a good idea to use sirens. Up to 600 feet (180 meters) away, a unique 86decibel sound pattern can be heard when the Apple Watch's action button is long-pressed.
During recreational underwater activities to 130 feet (40 meters) the Depth app can be used.
The users can see their current depth, water temperature, duration under water as well as the maximum depth they have reached. As soon as the Apple Watch is submerged, it can be activated.
The general public will not be able to use the two apps until the Apple Watch Ultra models are available.
If users uninstall the stock apps and then change their mind, they'll be able to re-download both from the App Store, even if they don't want to.
Trail, Ocean, and Alpine band options are available for the Apple Watch Ultra. The new watch can be pre-ordered now and will be available for purchase on Friday. If you want to learn more about the Apple Watch Ultra's design and features, be sure to check us out.
